How can I join the Flyur team?

Our team of dedicated couriers or “Flyurs” as we call them, are cherished by our community of business clients. You may sign up here at our website by clicking the “BECOME A FLYUR” link and following the instructions provided to guide you through the application process.

So much walking! How do I make sure I don’t burn out?

We highly encourage all of our new Flyurs to check out our Flyur Survival Guide and Welcome to Flyur video, which includes our FLYUR delivery readiness checklist and tips on: how to safely and efficiently perform a typical flyer delivery; and how to use the FLYUR app to perform jobs and get paid. We encourage delivering no more than 300 flyers in any given day, which is about 3 – 4 hours of work. Anything over that should be spread out over multiple days to avoid burnout and prevent repetitive strain on the joints, ligaments, and muscle tissue surrounding the feet and ankles. We also highly encourage wearing comfortable and supportive athletic footwear for further protection.

How long will it take me to do a flyer delivery?

It depends on a number of things like how fast you can walk, how steep the roads are, how widely spaced apart the homes are, etc… However on average, it takes roughly 1 hour to deliver 100 flyers. So for 500 flyers, you can expect it to take roughly 5 hours.

How do I get paid?

As part of our onboarding process, you will be connected to our Stripe payment platform. Once your client confirms completion of your submitted job, your payment will be sent your Stripe account within 2 business days. Associates may then issue transfers of their Stripe balance to their connected bank accounts.

What happens if I can’t finish a delivery?

Partial deliveries, as we call them, are possible but highly discouraged as they hurt business for both you and us, as a platform. If necessary, the first step would be to login to the app, tap on your active job, go to the Route Tracking page, scroll down and tap the “Help” button at the bottom of the screen. Then tap the “Help! I can’t finish this job.” button and follow the instructions provided in your Notifications. Partial delivery payments may be issued on a case-by-case basis depending on the percentage of area covered during your delivery.
